  1. Can you state your name, your position, and a brief summary of your basic responsibilities?
  2. Can you comment on any significant challenges faced in your role at the ECCC, regarding both international law and the court’s policies and procedures?
  3. What are your thoughts on the positive and negative aspects of a hybrid court?
  4. What parts of the court worked well, and what could be improved?
  5. Are there any lessons learned, best practices, or recommendations for future tribunals that stand out in your mind based on your time at the ECCC?
  6. Can you tell us about your interactions with the judges? Anyone you particularly liked working with or learned from? Any anecdotes on the relationships between the judges (i.e., how they interacted or worked together)?
  7. How about staff interactions? Can you provide any anecdotes on relationships between the judges and staff?
  8. You worked in other tribunals (namely the ICTR and ICTY). How would you compare your experiences at the ECCC to these other courts? Were there any restrictions or freedoms at the ECCC that differed from these courts?
  9. What do you see to be significant challenges for future courts handling mass atrocities based on your work at the ECCC?
  10. Can you recall any experiences at the ECCC that changed your perspective, opinion, or practice?
  11. Keeping within the boundaries of what has been released to the public, can you recall any accused or survivor stories that resonated with you?
